This year we'll participate in Arbor Day Forest Restoration with Great River Greening. We'll clear invasive buckthorn at Carroll's Woods/Schwarz Pond Park in Rosemount. This opportunity is open to all ages (children under 12 must be supervised). Great River Greening will supply the tools and equipment (gloves, shovels, safety glasses, etc), as well as drinking water and training. A light breakfast, snacks, and lunch will also be provided.
This event will occur rain or shine.
Presented by the University of Minnesota College of Design’s Design Student and Alumni Board with generous support from our 2018-19 College to Career program sponsors:
Haworth, Studio BV, Peterssen/Keller Architecture; Damon Farber, DLR Group, HGA, and WSB; and LHB and Made for Retail.
