Mentor Appreciation Dinner 2019
Tuesday, April 2, 2019
5:15 - 7:15pm
McNamara Alumni Center - Memorial Hall

Mentors and students are invited to the annual Mentor Appreciation Dinner in recognition of your participation in a 2018-19 mentor program in the Carlson School of Management, School of Public Health, College of Science and Engineering, College of Biological Sciences, and College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.

Schedule:
5:15-6:00pm: Arrival, gift pickup, and open networking
6:00pm: Dinner
6:30pm: Program
7:15pm: Event concludes

During dinner, join U of M alumna Erin Werde, President of The Instinctive Advantage, to learn about instincts. We hear about "instincts" all the time: "go with your gut", "always trust your instinct." But what do these phrases actually mean? Whether or not we choose to acknowledge our instincts, they are present in our daily interactions. In Erin's presentation "Instincts: All Gain, No Pain", we'll learn about the various ways in which people take action and how to bring instincts beyond the subconscious.

Registration note: Mentors and students will receive an invitation to RSVP from their collegiate mentor coordinator.
