To feed, heal, shelter, clothe, lift the spirits of those in need, and create a society in which all persons flourish. Guided by five values: healing, community, personalism, justice, and gratitude.
Activities will include sorting, processing and organizing donated clothing for the St. Anthony’s Free Clothing Program.
BART or MUNI recommended. Both BART and MUNI stop at the Civic Center Station (Fulton/McAllister) 31 (Turk), and 21 Hayes, and all of the Market Street busses and trolleys stop within a block. Pay-for-parking available at the corner of Golden Gate and Jones.
Upon arrival volunteers will check in with the lead volunteer and a member of the St. Anthony Clothing Program will greet and provide orientation/training.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothes (e.g., walking shoes, jeans) and tie back long hair if applicable.
All volunteers must be at least 15 years of age. Volunteers 18 years or younger must provide completed youth volunteer form on the day of.
There is limited space to store valuables, please bring only what you will need for the day. Water and restrooms will be available on site. All volunteers must complete a Waiver of Liability Form and provide it on the day of.
