The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.
Volunteer opportunities for the BT5K race will range from course marshals directing participants, water stop volunteers, finish chute direction, post-race refreshments, and course tear-down.
There is free street parking within a short walking distance around the Lake Como neighborhood. Parking is also available near this event for various fees.
Upon arrival volunteers should meet at the Midway Parkway shelter. There will be a volunteer check-in desk at the shelter that the entire group will check in at together.
What to Wear
Comfortable walking/standing shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult
All individuals who register and volunteer on the day of will receive a free t-shirt from the American Brain Tumor Association.
