Mission
Since 1975, The Bakken Museum has been committed to nurturing a passion for science in visitors from around the world.  A Smithsonian affiliate, The Bakken offers dynamic exhibit experiences and industry-leading STEM-focused education programs.  Our experiences focus on the history and nature of electricity and magnetism, Minnesota’s medical technology industry and, of course, Frankenstein!
 
Activity
Volunteers will assemble 'make your own circuit' kits and Science Studio activity kits while socializing with other volunteers.

Parking
The Bakken Museum has a small parking lot, as well as street parking available.

Arrival
Volunteers should check in upon arriving in the lobby

What to Wear
Comfortable clothes

Age
Minimum age to volunteer is 12 years old. Children 12-18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Information
Every volunteer receives a pass for complimentary admission to the Bakken Museum to be used within one
year.
