U of M Day of Service at Bakken Museum Science Studio

Saturday, October 14, 2017 9:00AM - 12:00PM

Lead Volunteer
Joelle Larson

Since 1975, The Bakken Museum has been committed to nurturing a passion for science in visitors from around the world.  A Smithsonian affiliate, The Bakken offers dynamic exhibit experiences and industry-leading STEM-focused education programs.  Our experiences focus on the history and nature of electricity and magnetism, Minnesota’s medical technology industry and, of course, Frankenstein!
Volunteers will assist museum attendees with hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations exploring the theme of Space. This will require interaction with the public.

The Bakken Museum has a small parking lot, as well as street parking available.

Volunteers should check in upon arriving in the lobby
