The Mission of the Cedar Riverside Neighborhood Revitalization Program is to support residents and stakeholders of the West Bank neighborhood by providing culturally appropriate tools and resources that promote civic engagement, leadership development, and equitable access to economic and educational opportunities for all its constituents.
Volunteers will be outdoors helping to beautify the neighborhood by picking up garbage in public spaces, graffiti removal and safety walks around the neighborhood looking for burnt out street lights, broken windows, etc.
Volunteers can utilize the small parking lot attached to the building. There are also street meters and or nearby parking ramps in the area, parking will not be reimbursed. The light rail stations for both the Blue and Green lines are nearby, as well as a number of Nice Ride stations.
Upon arrival volunteers will need to check in with the lead volunteer, Courtney Barrette.
