To provide care and support for kids and young adults with life-limiting conditions and the families who love them.
Volunteers will be helping with landscaping around the new Crescent Cove Hospice and Respite Home for Kids on Twin Lakes in Brooklyn Center. Projects include updating existing landscaping, removing/replacing rocks, painting, and other various outdoor cleaning activities (raking leaves, picking up sticks, etc). We will be prepping for the upcoming winter as well as the grand opening in November!
There is ample parking available near our home.
Upon arrival volunteers should gather outside the front entrance.
What to Wear
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing suited for landscaping projects.
No minimum age, but any children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult
Crescent Cove will open the third children's hospice and respite home in the U.S. in November 2017. We are excited to be prepping our home and site for the arrival of kids and their families and are grateful for volunteer hours to help with both inside and outside projects.
