U of M Day of Service at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan

Saturday, October 14, 2017 9:00AM - 11:00AM

Lead Volunteer
Michael Hudson

As a Christian non-profit organization, Feed My Starving Children is called to feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. You will hear us say this again and again: “We want to reach everyone, until ALL are fed.” We truly mean this. This means reaching the hard-to- reach people and places, the “least of these.” They will be found, and they will be fed.

Volunteers will be hand-packing rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to our incredible partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.

Parking lot available.

Upon arrival please check-in.

What to Wear
Comfortable clothing with close toe shoes. Please do not wear jewelry of any kind, as this is FDA requirement. We will provide gloves, however, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

The minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed in our packing area (sorry, no exceptions). All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
