Mississippi Park Connection strengthens the enduring connection between people and the Mississippi River by enriching the life of the river and the lives of all who experience our national park, the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.
Activities will include tending to native plants and removing invasive plants with loppers or small hand tools.
Parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. There will be a sign directing volunteers at park entry.
Upon arrival, volunteers should check-in with National Park Service Park Ranger.
What to Wear
Volunteers MUST wear long pants and close-toed shoes to be able to participate.
The minimum age to volunteer is 12 years old.
