We provide food, shelter and services and inspire our community through collaboration, recognizing that each person is created in the image and likeness of God, and that God’s compassion transforms lives.
Volunteers will be assisting with meal service to homeless and vulnerable men, women and children. Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada prepare an average of 1,000 meals in a clean and safe environment each day.
Parking lot available on site. Onsite parking is free. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible.
Volunteers use the entrance between Foremaster and Owens. The administrative offices will be closed, volunteers will check in with the security guard at the front gate and are directed to the Lied Dining Facility. Upon arrival, volunteers will sign in and await job duties from the staff supervisor.
What to Wear
Mandatory Dress Code: long pants, shirt with sleeves (such as a t-shirt), and closed-toe shoes.
-Please bring only what you can carry in your pockets: there is no storage for personal items.
-The shift is scheduled through the lunch hour, please plan lunch offsite or bring a lunch. There are no food services for volunteers on campus over the weekends.
