Alumni Leader Summit
Alumni Leaders provided insights and feedback at the Summit that will be invaluable as the Alumni Association continues developing our new five-year strategic plan. A recording of the full summit is available online. Here are several areas alumni leaders indicated the Alumni Association should give priority focus for the next five years:
- Providing career-oriented and personal enrichment programs that help alumni in their professional and everyday lives. (Behind the Scenes, webinars, speakers, online networking, etc.)
- Connecting with students and recent alumni by providing distinctive programs and services for them. (Mentoring, special events, etc.)
- Tapping alumni in MN to support the U’s legislative agenda through advocacy.
The Alumni Association is also surveying all alumni with e-mail addresses, conducting stakeholder interviews with key campus partners and listening to staff and alumni relations officers across campus. The UMAA Board of Directors will use all of this feedback to help shape future priorities.
