Join the Alumni Association as we welcome Dr. Jeffrey Stamp, B.S. '83, Ph.D. '90, Founder & Chief Storyteller at Bold Thinking, LLC, and creator of Baked! Lay’s® Potato Crisps.

The evening will include a networking social hour, full dinner and program featuring keynote speaker Dr. Jeffrey Stamp. Known for his quest for seizing Aha! Moments and for his worldwide expertise in bringing out the creative best in students and professionals alike, Jeffrey will take you on a fun and daring adventure to help you transform your approach to creativity from accidental to intentional - and to discover what it truly takes to convert your Aha! Keynote Speaker

ST-2017-NonMag-AnnualCelebration_StampDr. Stamp earned both his B.S. (’83) and Ph.D. (’90) from the University of Minnesota on the St. Paul campus. His creative career path has included stints in corporate scientific research and leadership positions at General Mills and Pepsi’s Frito Lay Division as well as entrepreneurial start-ups and academic educator.

Having lead seven successful entrepreneurial start-ups, he also served as a Chief Trained Brain and V.P. of Technology for the widely recognized Eureka! Ranch, a leading product and service creativity think-tank. His Eureka Ranch team was awarded the "George Land World-Class Innovator Award" from the Innovation Network and Fast Company magazine.

Dr. Stamp has been an assistant professor and endowed chair of entrepreneurship at the University of North Dakota and has been awarded numerous teaching awards for his unique teaching methods in experiential learning. His research focuses on understanding what happens at the cognitive interface between that moment of insight and inspiration and the decision to take action on your ideas.

His work has appeared in publications such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice as well as the Oxford Handbook of Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship and the Annals of Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy.

As Chief Storyteller at his latest company, Bold Thinking, Dr. Stamp leads a team of highly skilled thinkers that provides concept design, advanced analytics to predict idea success, venture strategy, online and live training content and events to corporations and universities worldwide that desire to discover new opportunities or foster entrepreneurial thinking skills in their teams.
