The Bauhaus Story

Graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Journalism provided us with the foundation and connections to immediately launch our careers in professional strategic communications. After spending a decade working in advertising agencies (and honing our love of beer and all things craft), the idea of reinvigorating the family brewery came to be and Bauhaus Brew Labs was born.
Founded by 8 family members with varying backgrounds, we were thrilled to bring our strategic marketing expertise to the table. At Bauhaus, we craft flavor-forward beers that never tax the palate; always skewed with a sense of play and adventure. Over the past 5 years, we have built a marketing powerhouse, priding ourselves on being content creators, event producers, emoji makers and talk-show hosts. Along with numerous beer accolades, we are incredibly proud to say that Bauhaus Brew Labs has been recognized on both a local and national level for its marketing efforts.
University of Minnesota Impact
The University of Minnesota and specifically the incredibly experienced staff at the School of Journalism provided us with the foundation, industry connections and tools to be hired immediately out of school. After nearly 15 years in working in strategic communications, we are proud to say that we are running a successful local business in the Twin Cities and our education at the University of Minnesota played a huge role in where we are today.
