Q. I don't see any group volunteer sites near me. How do I participate?

A. There are many ways to give. If you are not able to volunteer on Day of Service consider making a gift here. Or join us next year. U of M Day of Service is an annual tradition.
Q. I am interested in hosting a group site. What do I need to do?
A. If you are interested in hosting a group site, contact Director of National Engagement Kablia Thao at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. If a site is hosted by a specific college within the U that I did not attend, can I still volunteer at that site?
A. Yes, all sites are open to all volunteers. Hosted sites give volunteers an opportunity to connect with their college if they are unsure of what site to choose. However, you are welcome to volunteer at any of the available sites.
Q. May children participate?
A. Some sites have restrictions on youth volunteers due to safety. If a site has restrictions we will note as such in the details for a site. We do our very best to include a variety of sites so even our youngest Gophers can volunteer.
